Saksham Gupta, BCA Class of 2017, graduated from AAST at the top of his class and was voted most likely to join the Alumni Association.

Originally from the Six, Saksham now lives in Austin, Texas. Prior to moving to Austin, he graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a degree in Computer Engineering in 2021. Saksham is currently working at Yahoo! — yes it still exists.

Outside of work, he loves to hoop and joined the Alumni Association to give kids in the next generation guidance and advice on how to succeed. “I remember when graduating, I had no idea what I wanted to do, and having a network of alumni to go to would have been an immense help,” Saksham notes. “I hope we can start that for not only current students but for past and future ones. BCA was such a unique high school experience, forming bonds for life amongst us all, and we should all harness that to help each other achieve great things together.”
